Services Provided by the Boarding Section:
The Arab Institute provides comprehensive care for orphans and social cases through a well-equipped boarding residence that includes living, educational, psychological, and social aspects, aiming to raise a balanced and educated generation. These services include:
First: Daily Living Care
- Full accommodation in the boarding residence throughout the academic year.
- Three daily meals.
- Monthly and weekly allowance for the student.
- Providing transportation when needed.
Second: Health and Educational Care
- Free medical treatment throughout the year.
- Providing clothing, books, and stationery for all students.
- Supporting high school graduates by sponsoring their university studies and providing special housing within the Institute for them, in an environment that maintains their psychological and social stability (a pioneering initiative started two years ago).
- Raising the academic and scientific level of the students so that they can obtain degrees qualifying them to integrate into society.
Third: Psychological and Social Support
- Psychological and social care under the supervision of specialists.
- Organizing recreational activities and periodic trips.
- Distributing food parcels to needy families.
- Providing Eid clothing and holiday gifts.
Fourth: Comprehensive Educational and Social Goals
- Sponsoring the orphan financially and developing his life skills.
- Providing financial support to the orphan’s family and enhancing its sense of security and stability.
- Preparing orphans to integrate into their family and social environment.
- Developing the spirit of belonging, solidarity, and giving among orphans and the surrounding community.
- Instilling proper upbringing and building a balanced personality.
- Combating poverty and negative dependency by training students in scientific and vocational skills.
- Preserving the authentic and productive Palestinian presence in Jerusalem and its surroundings.
