Teaching and Assessment Strategies in the Program
The teaching strategies are student-centered learning, focusing on their abilities, interests, and potential, and emphasizing on group work, interactive activities, and various types of thinking development activities.
Curriculum and Educational Systems in the Program
Students study the curricula approved by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education for both national and international tracks.
- The majority of the courses are in English starting from the 10th grade through to the 12th grade.
- Students are trained to master the English language.
- Students study principally in Arabic in the 7th grade.
- The number of English language lessons is doubled.
- School days are from Sunday to Thursday.
- The school calendar follows the Ministry of Education schedule.
End-of-School Examination in the Program
Students will take international exams such as the SAT and AP, which are equated with the Palestinian General Secondary Certificate (Tawjihi).
If a student would like to join Bard College at Al-Quds University, they can benefit from the recognition of earned credits, which allows them to complete their undergraduate studies in less than four years, similar to the Early Colleges Network in the USA.
Admission Process to the Program
Firstly: Admission Requirements:
- Application Form: Submit a completed application form by the specified deadline.
- School Certificate: Provide an official copy of the 6th-grade certificate of Fall semester.
- Interview: Attend an interview (if shortlisted), where the student discusses his interests, experiences, and aspirations.
